The U.S. Chess Federation is trying to checkmate two Texas Tech Grand Masters in Federal Cout.
Susan Polgar and her husband Paul Truong may be asked to answer questions in a pre-lawsuit deposition by a federal district judge.
The court filing by attorneys for the Federation states the matter involves "highly confidential and sensitive communications" from the Federation's executive board. New Yorker Sam Sloan is suing the organization and the couple, claiming leaked e-mails resulted in him losing a Federation Board election to Polgar and Truong.
